Class Identity - I Am Better Than You
With the birth of capitalism, we had enough fervor to see where society could go if class identity was the forefront of the way one saw themselves. But that's only step one, especially in like well developed, extremely consumeros obsessed societies. We have switched from the idea of identifying with the fellow line worker at work, or fellow cab driver, or the fellow pool cleaner and into identifying as this all knowing, almost godlike figurei,. which is defined as the customer.
