How to Write a Good Book About a Sociopath

The best way to deal with a character who isn't immediately likeable is to make sure they're competent give them something they can do very well that will balance out their incompetency of their flaw. That's a tough line to walk often just by virtue of making somebody the main character you are encouraging people to like them I'm putting you in this person's shoes and you are seeing their flaw but because you are seeing things through their eyes that may color the story a little more positively for you.
