The question is, are penalty patients right or are they pen allergic. In adult medicine, at least 90 maybe 95% of the people who say they're not not. So unless you know they've had anaphylaxis, it's kind of hard to say they've been allergic. I would still give a cephalosporin unless they hadAnaphylaxis but in pre adolescents, azithromycin works. For group a strip, it works pretty well. It doesn't work perfectly, but they're getting better anyway.
