Bay's Blast: Let's think about slowing down AI by Katja Grace or Katja Grace. It was recorded weeks before GPT-4 had even come out, but still very relevant. The article makes fun of us for thinking we might build a God machine that can take over the world and remake it as a paradise. And then Katja has some answers to this question, but I don't personally find them super persuasive.
