The Night of Paul Revere

"The midnight message of paul revere" by Ralph ravenshag was written during the Second World War. The poem is about a man who rode his horse through Middlesex in order to warn people that British troops were on their way. It tells how he feared being killed himself, but also what would happen if they arrived and opened fire. He writes: "And so through the night went his cry of alarm to every middlesex village and arm."
