Basic Instinct 2 - A Review
C2 Pictures was a sort of sequel to Carolco. It had the original team behind it of Mario Casa and Andrew G. Vadgina. They approached MGM, got into a conversation, and were going to put in a sizable amount of money for Basic Instinct 2. Sharon Stone would have almost total approval over large elements of the project. She signed what turned out to be a very lucrative pay-or-play deal that was said to be worth $14, $15 million.
