The Evil Business of Seed Oils

By 1980, almost every restaurant in the US switched over to using these cheaper seed oils in their fryers. By 1993, Americans were consuming an average of 30 grams of seed oils per day compared to just two grams in 1909. Polysaturated fat found in vegetable oils turns into a varnish-like substance in the intestines. That vegetable oil is linked to high rates of cancer, Alzheimer's disease, and heart disease.
