I think we may be what it looks like when you have a population that is highly immune coming into this homicron variand you get a lot of cases but not that many deaths. The signal that this is almost all omicron is is mass of dissociation between cases and hospitalisations. And i don't know anybody who does not predict that it will become the major player by by january. It's just growing so quickly.
