The Kitchen and Dining in Chinese Culture
In Chinese culture, we have like the kitchen God that you would appease to. And there's a lot of like rituals in terms of like eating as well in Chinese culture. You never ever ever whack your chopsticks on the bowl because that's sun and the ghosts or you never ever stab your chopsticks in a bowl of rice because that looks like an incense which means again, it's related to death. So this chime with anybody's experiences of the kitchen or dining anywhere in the world - I feel like it's kind of similar.
