How to Classify Fiber Subtypes and How They Impact Health
There's a number of different ways to classify subtypes of fiber and different ways to stratify that out. We can look at fibers that are fermented to a great degree to those that are come fermented to a lesser degree. We can think about it on a scale of viscosity, et cetera. What we're much more interested in is the physiological effects of fiber and how do we measure that? And so therefore we're taking a very specific type of fiber and looking at this very specific role of lipid lowering.
