The Life and Death of Judith Magaleep

Magaleep spoke with hundreds of women, who told her about miscarriages or infant deaths. With the arrival of her second daughter, Ariana, Magaleep was soon swept up in the demands of motherhood. Carrying for two young children was a lot of work, even though she loved being a parent. Her thoughts remained in the Amazon, even as she traveled back to Lima to give birth for the second time.
