Briged: If you weren't being held back by fear, or like a negative self fulfilling prophecy, what would your relationships look like? briged: It's funny, because assuming people like you, right? We think that's about how other people perceive us. But there's this interesting theory called the sociometric theory of self esteem which argues that our self esteem is a reflection of our gage for how people perceive us and we're more likely to engage with others if we assume they are like us. Briged: Even though dec like definitely has its corks on friendship, i think it also has its own rewards.
