The Importance of Practicing a Grimoire
When starting a grimoire you should be prepared for hours and hours of initial work in the ritual. The spirit very likely will not instantly show up yeah again if I can use another analogy imagine somebody phones you on your landline not your mobile on the landline unless you are sat right next to that phone when it rings you then have to make your way to the phone to answer it. It can take a few recitations of a conjuration to get the spirit's attention and bring it to the metaphorical phone to actually answer and engage with you. They don't always come to visible appearance which you know people can be quite disappointed they never done a conjuration they do their first
