Socialism and the Welfare State

Under the capitalist model, you have a kind of shareholder capitalist firm. We want to replace this shareholder class with some other constituency that should make productive decisions and benefit from production. The socialists will tend to focus more on control and ownership. There's a whole other group of people who maybe are less concerned about that and are interested in income and final consumption.
