The beard list was developed in 19 91 by doctor beers and an expert consensus panel. It's a tool to help identify potentially inappropriate medication use in older adults. Medications affect adults differently as they age for multiple easons. Some drugs should not be used in most older adults, while some are indicated what should be used with caution.
