A lot of people, when they work out, want to feel spent at the end. Ad and you take thee average day, why do you think you should have more intensity than someone who's an elite level athlete? And it's because you're basing your successful or effective workout on how tired you are. When an elite athlete bases it off their actual performance. Are they getting faster? Are they getting better? Are they more conditioned? That is the only way for good athletes to get in the amount of training that they need - not just grind themselves under the ground.
