Tacit Knowledge Is a Construct I've Had Trouble Understanding

Sally Kohn: One construct that I've had trouble understanding is tacit knowledge. When you walk down the street, I imagine you're not thinking about how is your brain sending signals to your legs to move in sequence and to keep you in balance? You're not really aware of that. As we're on this show watching you, I see that you continue to breathe, which is fortunate. But I don't think you're aware of the signals that are going to your lungs to keep you breathing. Those things are all unconscious. And it's a good thing.
