Is There a New Brand That Banks on Nostalgia?
I want to come back and talk about nostalgia because I find it to be a really interesting topic. And as I get older, I think the hard strings pull harder for that. When you have a consumer who's paying $9.99 a month for a bunch of services, it starts spilling into other areas whether it's financial services or even productization. You're seeing places like Apple now talk about buying your iPhone on a subscription-based model versus just paying out right to $800 or $1,300 for it. So to me, that would be a definition, I think, of new consumer behavior.
