The Importance of Surface Friction in Strength Training

I was spoiled for weather in Texas last 10 years, obviously different ball game being home in Ireland. But we would have to go indoors because of the heat. So one of the things I would do is just base it off kind of a time under tension or the energy system I'm trying to improve maybe ATP. And that will account for friction. Be it your on a astroturf, be it your on concrete, be ityour on grass. Is it ideal? Is it optimal? No, but we can't always do the best we can do the best available, which is key.
