A Brief History of the Battalion
In august, battalion assisted in collecting jews from various villages for transportation to trablinka. Many jews were shot during these operations, but killing jews wasn't the immediate goal. E later, shootings were more organized since techniques had been learned and practised. And more importantly, men within the battalion had risen to positions of authority who either did not mind directing such work or positively enjoyed it.
