Mr. Carte had an echo that showed left ventric vascular hypertrophy at normal alveus distalate function. He was also noted to have no significant valvular disease. But he did, however, have a 3.5 meter per second velocity jet noted in his descending aorta with diet cellic front-off present. This is definitely suspicious for co-arctation of the 3.5 meters per second. And like I said earlier, anything greater than 20 is considered significant. So kind of ideal follow-up imaging would be a cardiac MRI to better evaluate the anatomy of his aorta.
