I wanted to lead the viewer through the same experience I had of discovering him, discovering a story, discovering where he took it. The gamble was that you're executing his dream was going to overpower or at least balance out the sort of sadness of that guy. But yeah, I feel like there's universal stuff in there. That's why I never wanted to be like a freak show or whatever.
