The Science of Awe

The science of awe really started around 2003 when Dacker Keltner and his friend and colleague Jonathan Hate wrote a paper exploring awe as a scientific emotion to be researched. And we found in the last 20 years is that awe is actually perhaps the most important and powerful of all positive emotions. People thought of this initially as the Gucci bag, Michelle Chioda at Arizona State University,. But actually as we're learning through all the research has been done, including ours,  awe is essential for living a life of physical health, emotional health, and spiritual being. So it encompasses everything.
