Is the Shepherd of Hermes an Adoptionist Christology?
I remember reading the shepherd of Hermes with our mutual friend, Beau Branson. And it seems to me almost like it was the sort of Christology where Jesus is a human. He then almost gets possessed except in a good sense, right? Not like a demon possession, but like a spirit angelic possession for a period of time. That's certainly a possible read. But I think it's also possible to interpret that same language in another way.
