How likely is it that we, these evolved apes on this little out of the way planet with our sensorial are taking in all that is real? Do you see how arrogant that begins to sound? I mean, it's absurd the more you think about it. And up until very recent times, almost no culture helped this. They all held there was something like a transcendent and spiritual order. In relation to that order, our lives find meaning. That was taken for granted everybody until about 1975, no kidding.
