What Is the Price of Tea?

The 13 hundreds were an age of on and off warfare, which would make transporting goods by a road very dangerous. In particular, they suggest a price for tea at somewhere around 25 to 32 copper pieces per kin,. A unit of about 600 grams was worth over a hundred and 70 copper pieces in places like the far flung eastern city of cama kura. Tea production was getting cheaper thanks to both advances in farming technology and a growing population.
