German Military Intelligence, the Abve, Was Able to Do Just That
On june 20 sixth, 19 forty one abver agents intercepted an eciphered message from a short wave radio transmitter. They didn't know yet what it was, but they forwarded this message to the funk adver that was dedicated to monitoring illicit broadcasts and deciphering signals from the allies. Two months later, they intercepted a second message. And this was, again, still in ciphered. But now the funk aver had intercepted this message with the names of three people in a resistance group. It included their real names, not their code names, and their addresses. Now this was an espionage one o one failure.
