The Purpose of Physics, I'm a Physicist

I enjoyed the elegance of physics in describing the universe, but i wasn't actually so interested in physics. I was more, it was a deeper interest in finding some kind of meaning or beauty in the world,. And i think that's kind of where my desire to do physics came from. Now, i do a very particular kind of physics: condensed mater physics. Mine is a very practical form of physics, where i try to apply my knowledge to do something that i think will contribute positively to society. That's why i did my pi.
