I Can't Get Mad, Just He's a Thing

I can't blame him for being high strung, i tell myself on a walk around the island alone. Just he's a regular mortal with flaws. When i blame him, i just feel guilty. And then i start to blame myself. But during these conversations, bill looks handsome to me again. He sounds like someone i'm still in love with. The camresumes in the focus sharpens. Charming little details emerge. In spite of everything, he's still my favorite person. I can see why we're together. We might stay this way. Forever.
