The Importance of IQ Tests

Brett: IQ tests are really just measuring interest in certain kinds of knowledge. It seems like what we could do is test children with IQ tests before they they've clearly taking an interest in mathematics physics and science versus sports art etc. If this is partially just our perceptions that we value certain kind of knowledge over others then testing children before they're clearly in I'm a mathematic gonna be a mathematician versus I like sports at a young enough age would refute Brett's theory. We could see if IQ is stable or not but my point was to say why would you reject it?
