The Shift to Remote Teaching
i i can echo most teachers when i say that the shift to crisis schooling, or emergency remote teaching, it was humbling and hard for many reasons. Even though my students had access direct instruction through vidios, during our time in the physical class room together, i was always working with kids at what i called my nest, like my centre table. So not having these daily, instantaneous check ends was very difficult on i wasn't able to see kids, hug kids gauge how they were doing based on body language and facial expressions. There's just no way to replace being in person with your student model of learning. I actually question whether any are like that.
