What's One Idea in Biblical Studies That Needs to Die?

I want to ask some general questions as well. I always ask guests on the podcast, what's one idea in biblical studies that you think needs to die? Well, I think the whole critical tradition that assumed an evolution of God from primitive to Pauline, developmentalism. And I think we are in scholarly circles, we are moving away from that. That really has been a very destructive idea and shaped almost everybody's interpretation.
