The Rise of the Asian Youth Movement

The Asian youth movement organized counter-marchars to the national front. They campaigned on immigration issues, most famously perhaps in the case of Anwar Ditha - a British-born mom who'd been separated from her kids in Pakistan. We could mobilize 11 coaches, fill them and take them to London simply from community support. So the Asian youth movement did the prolific amounts of work. We were volunteers. We didn't accept any form of funding. We did everything on our own backs.
