Animacy, Is Encoded in Gender?
William: Most of these languages, animacy is encoded in gender. And truck has animate gender. So it can be the proximate, technically. William: I was thinking truck will be an animate and then for shouldn't have it. It would have been nice if we had Christine on here, but she didn't volunteer for this one.
