Bewilderment Is Like Perplexity
"Bewilderment is like perplexity, you know, we're perplexed, but not driven to despair," she says. "If that is the path that God takes in the world, then he does follow the path of bewilderment." At Rice University, students generally show up with their major printed on their forehead; they don't have that at Ole Miss. It's been moralized deeply bewilderment and admitting bewilderment feels like failure or laziness for a lot of people.
