The vast majority of people who have a traumatic experience do not end up having a mental health diagnosis because of it. Most people who go to war and see war like don't get pt so that's something important to emphasize. I wanto to talk more about immigration and therapy. But before we go there, just following that tangent and what you had mentioned when you were being beaten by your father in that disssociation,. and then balanced by this idea of really being in your body and feeling your body and what it wants to do to get this stuff out.
