The Worst Earnings Season Ever
We continue to see in a lot of these reports underneath of the details that there is significant weakness in the economy, and especially the consumer. A tepid economy just simply means less revenue for corporations, and that's where the earnings shortfall begins. We don't really think that this is completely over from an earnings perspective. It's expected to be the worst earnings season that we've seen since the pandemic.
