A lot of organizations use matrics because it helps have a handle on complexity. Good managers know that there isn't just one metrick. They'll know that there's a host o metrix. And i think really good managers and really good leaders will also listen and ask the right questions to find out more nuances, more deeper understanding about what those metricks mean.
