Compassion in Dying
Many people would rather make the choice to die with their family at home on their own terms than be admitted to hospital and die alone in a hospital bed. Si, think this all goes to show that we haven't yet cracked death and dying in this country. If somebody isn't admitted to an intensive care unitt its not necessarily because there's not a bed available for them. Sometimes that's just not the right course of action to take.
