Slavery in Mauritania
Mauritania is a really isolated country. There's one television station, and it is state owned. And because it is so underdeveloped, slavery has just flourished there the way it always has. They didn't outlaw slavery until two thousand eight. So that means that 20 % of the population of that country is in amd. It's kind of brutally enforced am. People don't know about it because the maritanian government has kept it very quiet.
