The Moral Story of Typos
The persistence of typos going between papers over time because people are copying and pasting. One of my favorite examples of typos was one of my co-authors, one of his most cited papers. He didn't check the proofs and they missbuilt his name which is kind of the first thing that you check. So yes, check your proofs. That's the moral story there.
