Did Faulkner Feel Like a Fish Out of Water?
Faulkner was invited to New York to meet with several publishers. He met some Hollywood agents and his wife had gone to school with the actress, Toulula Bankhead. Someone contacted Faulkner all his in New York and said, Why don't you write a screenplay or at least a screen treatment for Toulula? And he wrote something which wasn't very good.
