The Difference Between Feathers and Fur
The first feathers were very fur-like, but they weren't exactly the same in the way that these things develop. I never thought about the difference between because where my non-scientific brain is going is like, why not fur? Isn't fur better than feathers? "I would imagine a bird would do better with feathers than a bunch of fur," he says.
