The Importance of Care in the Gospel of John
In the Gospel of John, there is this very extended conversation between Jesus and Mary where initially she doesn't recognise him. I think she must have had a kind of duty of care. That doesn't imply she was married to Jesus, but it might imply that among the women disciples, she was the most preeminent.
