Kona was the first open source k implementation and that was sort of targeting k3 which is also the dialect of the language I ended up using professionally to get a little bit ahead of myself. clean room reimplementation the same thing I could observe its behavior and then try to replicate that so yeah kona kona is a project by by kevin lawler what was actually kind of interesting is that not that long after I was working on kona I ended up having an opportunity to work together with kevin Lawler on one of his own projects he was working on a commercial now open source language called kona or sorry called kurf.
