The False Dichotomy of Critical Vision

In a critical vision, things happen differently. A reader feels challenged by the entire text and the reader's goal is to appropriate its deeper meaning. So there's a hidden deeper meaning that could be uncovered. And it gets worse, because we're talking about the hidden curriculum soon. That's where he believes that there's already a hidden meaning being injected into people. And the critical vision is going to have to break that open.
