Natural Theology
Natural theology, or developing arguments for the existence and nature of god, is a global phenomena. Most philosophers who engage in natural theology think that there's just limits to what natural theology can do. So it looks like scripture might not be the root that the classical theist wants to take in developing their doctrine. But at the very least, i think it's possible to offer some natural theological arguments that would support a very specific conception of godlike classical theism.
