The Dust of Existential Crisis

There is something in our psychic make-up that convinces us that it would be better if we return to dust. We cannot measure God, and we are left with that feeling after immersing ourselves in Herman Melville's magnum opus. And all that we can hope is that in our vain efforts to comprehend the incomprehensible, we find ourselves connected to that which is beyond ourselves.
