The Azigis and the War in the East

Balamar was able to secretly shore up support for his planned invasion of the empire. The same year as the summit, a combined force of vandals and a summation tribe called the Azigis invaded Moecia. They penetrated as far south as Greece before retreating back across the border laden with treasure. Ironically, they had actually been brought into the dangerous territory they occupied between the Danube and Dacia by Trajan when they agreed to act as loyal clients.
