Early Christian Liturgy

In a revivalist church, and in many piano churches to day that follow the revivalist pattern, you have essentially a 30 minute song ser. Increasingly to day it is, as some one said, a ted talk typically. But traditionally, historically, in reformed worship, it was a dialogue. God speaks and the people respond. And so god speaks, thof people respond all the way through the service, from the beginning until the end. How far back can we trace this liturgy? Well, we know the basic pattern of christian liturgies coming into the second century.
